Liquid Thermal Shock
In our facilities, liquid thermal shocks reach temperatures between -40ºC and 130ºC. Meanwhile, maximum flow rate reached is 10 m3/h and maximum pressure is 3 bar. Test bench allows us to test four different samples at the same time. This kind of test is very useful in order to check and validate automotive radiators and other liquid exchangers for different industries. Usually, the fluid used for these tests is coolant, but our laboratory can use other liquids like engine oils, water etc.
Thermographic videos can be recorded in order to understand leakages, thermal and mechanical behaviours. This information could be useful to improve the design of tested samples.
