Air Thermal Shock
Thermal shocks with compressed air can be performed in Samartest using our several test benches. This kind of test is very common for automotive charge air coolers and exchangers for any kind of industry. Test benches can reach temperatures from -30 to 250ºC with a maximum air pressure of 2,2 bar and charge air flow rate of 0,235 kg/s. External cold or hot air can be applied in order to simulate real behaviour of the sample with a maximum flow rate of 4000 m3/h.
Thermographic videos can be recorded in order to understand leakages, thermal and mechanical behaviours. This information could be useful to improve the design of tested samples.
